Founded in 2006, to help needy children from all walks of life by our Honorable Lady Shellielle Youhoing- Nanan , whom devoted her entire life to the needs of our children.
The Mission of Lady Shellie Youhoing
Lady Shellie Youhoing, has been a lover of children since she herself was a child. Loved and admired by all whom lives she has touched on her journey throughout this life. She tells her personal story when she was a little Girl, how older women in small communities in countries overseas where she grew up, used to bring their babies to her home to spend time with her. And how her mother used to care for the children, because Shellie herself was only a child. After migrating to the United States many years ago, in 1995, she moved to Georgia with her sweetheart and husband "Tony", and their two sons. Where she continued her mission in the day care field, helping indigent parents whom were unable to pay for child care to go to work.
After years of seeing the abuse and sufferance children in the United States endures on a daily basis, parents abandoning their children, turning to drugs and prostitution as their only recourse. We believed Lady Youhoing was ordained by God to do something to help our children.
Her favorite words are, " surely, I cannot help every child on this planet, but the work I am doing is precious in the sight of God".
THE MIRACULOUS WAY IN WHICH L.I.F.A WAS FOUNDED
In July 2006, Lady Youhoing answered her calling and took the greatest leap on the wings of faith and founded the L.I.F.A Children Foundation Project, which interpreted as (legal injustices 4alll), from absolutely nothing, no donation, nothing. And today, thanks to one of the greatest miracle of Almighty God, L.I.F.A has grown into a major organization, serving the needs of thousands of indigent children and their families all across Georgia. She cannot explain in details how it happen, only God can.
She explained that when she first started the L.I.F.A Children Foundation Project, she had no facility to hold her Christmas distribution. But that did not stop God's mission from going foreword. Her family which consists of babies at the time, would stand in the cold winter season handing out toys to needy children. Still yet, the greatest miracle of all occurred in December 2007 when her organization did not receive a single toy donation to help the children. She describes how God stepped in and multiplied the left over toys from 2006, she stored away in her garage, closets spaces, her organization estimated was enough to bless 150 to 200 children, to bless abundantly, more than 1000 needy boys and girls from all walks of life. Brothers and sisters, this reminds us all of the Bible Story in Mathew 14 v 13 where Jesus Christ took 2 fishes and five loaves of bread and fed a multitude.

Brothers and sisters, the year 2009 has now come to an end and a new year has now arrived. We live to see this country plunge into recession. People losing their jobs and their homes, unable to put food on the table or pay their bills, crime rates at it's highest, we all faces grave uncertainty. I promise you, that if you put your faith in God, in your days of famine, you too shall be fed. I know how difficult it is, sometimes you feel alone, that God may have forsaken you in your troubles and tribulations. Friends and love ones you have helped in the past are not there for you, it's okay, because we are all human. Do not be too hard on yourselves because God understands. My word of encouragement to all my people, which consists of all races, is to continue to fight because, when you put God first in all your endeavors, God will make the impossible becomes possible. My testimony to all of you today, is do not doubt the power of Almighty God. Miracles that happened in olden days are possible here on earth because it happened in my life. I am living proof.
A ROLE MODEL FOR OUR CHILDREN
As I witness to you today, no one would have known that my family suffered three tragic disasters over the past ten (10) years. Our home was robbed and vandalized in 2007, and was destroyed by fire in 2003 and again in 2008, which almost claimed the lives of two of my beautiful children, but God stepped in and rescued the children from the greatest disaster of all.
Until present, our insurance companies continues to use our legal system to defraud our family and has not pay to rebuild the home. Forcing my family with young children to take immediate refuge on the street on both occasions, despite the fact we had paid and maintained insurance to protect our property.
But most challenging of all, in the 2003 disaster, my husband suffered a heart attack before my eyes, scaring the life out of me, due to the fraud and injustice inflicted upon us. Brothers and sisters, I was forced to take charge of my family with no place to call home and no financial support. But God continue to sustain and give me strength, not only to to survive under impossible circumstances, but to take a stand as an activist for human rights. Fighting for the rights of all human being to equality and justice in our legal system. I will continue to press on because, it is no longer about me and my family, but the thousands of children, victims, and families, whom lives I have personally touched and inspired through my mission.
I will express in closing that it is a joyful feelings to know that others look up to you to be an example and to follow in your footstep. May God Bless you for the trust you have placed in me over the years. I promise I will never let you down.
